Hi, I'm Greg Bailey.

I’m a portrait photographer working with musicians, drag artists, creatives and communities, often photographing people whose lives involve a degree of performance or public visibility. I'm interested in the moments that exist alongside that performance: the quiet confidence, vulnerability, humour and humanity that make someone who they are.

I work at a pace that allows people room to breathe. I aim to create an atmosphere of calm where subjects feel supported rather than observed. That sense of ease is central to my process and shapes every image I make.

The photographs that emerge are bold, honest, collaborative and deeply personal.
